Our Christian Value for Autumn Term 1 is Generosity

‘God loves a cheerful giver’ (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Our School Vision

Learning through Faith, Family and Friendship

We are a happy, safe, inclusive school where excellence is celebrated.  A strong Christian ethos encourages responsible behaviour and respect for others within Friendship, Trust and Forgiveness.  We will inspire a love of learning that encourages individuality, creativity and independence that extends from the school family into the wider world, enabling all to flourish.

Jesus said, 'Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.' John 13:34

Welcome

On behalf of our pupils, staff and governors, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your family.

At Mount Pleasant, we hold high aspirations for every child. We want our pupils not only to achieve their full potential but also to grow as independent, confident and self-sufficient young people. Our broad, inspirational curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity and provide the right level of challenge, while ensuring that every child’s unique talents and skills are recognised and celebrated. Just as importantly, we provide children with new and exciting opportunities that they may not otherwise encounter.

We are proud of our happy, friendly and caring atmosphere. Our strong Christian ethos underpins everything we do, shaping the way we teach, learn and interact. Through our close links with the local church, children are supported in developing their understanding of the Christian faith and the values that guide our school community.

At the heart of our school are three core Christian values: Trust, Friendship and Forgiveness. These values are woven into daily school life and help to create a nurturing environment where children can flourish. Alongside these, our three simple school rules Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful are known and lived out by all our pupils.

I warmly invite you to explore our website to gain a sense of what makes Mount Pleasant special. However, the best way to truly experience our school is to visit us in person. Please contact us to arrange an appointment and we would be delighted to welcome you.
